About Me

Aditi Thakker

Interior designer, Bachelor of Interior Design

A recent graduate of Toronto Metropolitan University, with a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design with distinction. A member of the ARIDO and IDC. Throughout my academic journey, I developed a deep passion for creating spaces that are not only functional but also rich in meaning. I believe that interior design plays a crucial role in connecting people to their environments, shaping experiences, and leaving lasting impressions.

What I love most about designing spaces is the ability to create environments where memories are made, whether it's a cozy residential setting, an inspiring workspace, or an inviting hospitality venue. The connection between people and the spaces they inhabit is at the heart of my approach. I strive to create thoughtful, well-designed interiors that enhance both individual well-being and community interaction.

During my internship, I collaborated on several residential projects, where I honed my abilities in space planning, material selection, and client communication. Working in a fast-paced environment allowed me to develop a strong eye for detail and an understanding of the importance of balancing aesthetics with functionality. My experience with design software, particularly AutoCAD, SketchUp, and the Adobe Suite, has equipped me with the technical expertise needed to contribute effectively to any team.

Bringing this philosophy into commercial, residential, and hospitality projects, I aim to design spaces that feel authentic, evoke emotions, and serve as a backdrop for life’s moments, big and small.
